Privacy Policy

1. Protection of Users' Rights:

The Council and all entities participating in the Platform are committed to protecting the rights of all users of the electronic system and ensuring the preservation of their personal data and information.

2. Processing Submissions:

All submissions received through the Platform are reviewed to determine the most appropriate course of action, within the framework of full commitment to information protection and data confidentiality, except in disclosure cases stipulated by applicable legislation.

3. Protection of Personal Information:
1. Confidentiality of submission and information:

All submissions submitted through the Platform are subject to personal-information protection and data confidentiality provisions; information-security policies in the State apply. The Council shall take all necessary measures and precautions to ensure the confidentiality of submissions, including any documents or information associated with them.

2. Maintaining the privacy of digital data:

The privacy of all users’ digital data is maintained and used only for purposes related to improving the Platform’s services and achieving its objectives, with an obligation not to disclose it except in accordance with applicable legal controls.

4. General Provisions
1. Report harmful content to the community
The media content shall be considered harmful in any of the following cases:

If the circulated media content:

  • Content that conflicts with social and moral values.

  • Content that conflicts with the national identity of the United Arab Emirates.

  • Content that offends any components or groups of society.

  • Content that contradicts the media content standards in force in the country.

Mechanism for Reporting Harmful Media Content:

If you encounter such content, you can submit a report through the Platform to help review the content and take the necessary action in accordance with the media regulations in force in the country.

2. Request for Content Reconsideration
The user may request reconsideration of the circulated media content

If the content includes:

  • Content containing false, misleading, or inaccurate information.

  • Content presenting an opinion that is incorrect or contradicts facts.

  • Content that may mislead the public and therefore requires reconsideration.

Mechanism for Requesting Reconsideration of Content:

If you find such content, you may submit a request for reconsideration via the Platform. The Council will take all necessary steps to verify the accuracy of the content and handle the matter in accordance with applicable legislation.

3. Reporting Unsafe Content
The media content shall be considered unsafe

If it includes any of the following cases:

  • Content that includes a risk of some kind, whether a cyber threat or aimed at the unlawful capture of information.

  • Content that invades privacy.

  • Content that abuses any group in society, especially children and People of Determination.

Mechanism for Reporting Unsafe Content:

If you encounter any content that poses a risk to society or individuals—especially vulnerable groups such as children and People of Determination—you should report it immediately through the Platform for prompt legal and administrative action.
